In the rolling red hills of Los Altos de Jalisco, where the sun kisses the agave fields and tradition runs deep, our story began in 1905. It was here that a humble agave farmer with a passion for the land, crafted his first small batch of tequila using time-honored methods passed down through generations.
Driven by respect for the earth and a deep love for his homeland, insisted on using only organic, sustainably grown agave, hand-harvested at peak maturity. He believed that great tequila wasn’t just made—it was cultivated with care, patience, and soul.
Over the decades, his legacy was preserved by his family, who continued to produce tequila with the same artisanal process - slow-roasted agave, natural organic fermentation, and careful aging in oak barrels. What began as a local treasure shared among family and friends soon became a name respected by tequila lovers around the world.
Today, more than a century later, our distillery still stands on that same land, guided by the same values. We proudly produce Tequila Tres Ese Blanco Organic, Reposado Organic, and Añejo, staying true to our roots, our people, and the rich spirit of Los Altos de Jalisco.

ORGANIC PROCESS
DISTILLED WITH RESPECT FOR TRADITION AND NATURE
ORGANIC AGAVE CULTIVATION
Our organic agave cultivation begins in the mineral-rich red soil of Los Altos de Jalisco, where the high altitude of 6,693 feet and ideal climate produce agaves with exceptional sweetness and complexity. We grow our agave without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, relying instead on natural composting, crop rotation, and traditional hand-weeding to maintain soil health and biodiversity. Each agave is carefully nurtured for 3 to 5 years, harvested only at full maturity by skilled jimadores who know the plant like family. This mindful approach ensures not only a purer, more flavorful tequila, but also a deep respect for the land that sustains us.
ADDITIVES FREE, SLOW ROASTING
Our commitment to authenticity means additive free - free of artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners - just pure, 100% agave. The journey begins with slow roasting the agave piñas. This time-honored method allows the natural sugars in the agave to gently caramelize, unlocking deep, earthy aromas and rich, layered flavors. Unlike industrial quick-cooking techniques, our slow roast preserves the soul of the agave, resulting in a tequila that’s clean, complex, and true to its roots in Los Altos de Jalisco.
NATURAL FERMENTATION PROCESS
Our natural fermentation process is a slow, patient art that honors tradition and purity. After roasting the mature agave hearts or agave piñas, we extract their sweet juice and allow it to ferment naturally - without added yeasts or accelerants - in open-air vats. This method lets native wild yeasts from the local environment work their magic, imparting unique regional character and complexity to the tequila. The process can take several days, depending on weather and temperature, but the result is a richer, more nuanced spirit. Tequila Tres Ese stands out for its organic quality and alcohol content above regular tequilas that reflects the soul of Los Altos de Jalisco in every drop.
